BrightSign Demos

Welcome to the BrightSign Demo Page. These demos will provide you with a good overview of what BrightSign is capable of. In order to use the interactive demos, you will need to connect your BrightSign unit to a button board, mouse, or touch screen.

Instructions

  • Download one of the below demo files.
  • Unzip the file onto a flash card.
  • Insert the flash card into your unpowered BrightSign unit.
  • Connect power to your BrightSign unit.

BrightSign Interactive Demo

This is an interactive demo that supports buttons, touch screens and a USB mouse to interact with it. Please ensure that you have at least one of these interactive devices connected to your BrightSign unit before running this demo.

Thi demo starts with a Main Menu showing 4 sections to view. Using your input device of choice including buttons, a touch screen or a USB mouse, select the section you wish to view. The 4 sections include:

  • 720p video highlighting Brightsign Software and Hardware features (includes audio)
  • Slideshow of Roku products, that automatically advance from one slide to the next without input from a device
  • 720p Aquarium animation video
  • Brightsign slideshow presentation that manually advances with a button press, a touch screen or a USB mouse. It also will automatically advance after 15 seconds of inactivity.

Comix Tours Demos

This is a demo for the fictional Comix Tours Travel Agency. It highlights Zones, Text, HD video playback, custom background color, custom font, custom font color,etc. It is a looping playlist demontrating four windows of content including:

  • 720p HD video playing in the main window
  • Two separate slideshows, with different transitions playing to the right of the main window
  • Text window at the bottom highlighting travel specials

This demo has no audio.

Playlist Demos

This is a simple looping product demo playing fullscreen. It starts with a 720p HD video highlighting some Brightsign software and hardware features including Video quality, Ease of use, Networking, Interactivity,etc. This is followed by 6 slides about the Brightsign HD110/HD210/HD410/HD810/HD1010 models, using two different image transitions. This demo includes background audio.

Transition Effects Demo

This is a simple looping presentation of still images playing in full screen. Each image uses a different transistion effect and there is no audio.
NOTE: This demo requires BrightSign firmware version 3.1.46 or later. Click here to download the latest version of firmware.

Standard Definition Demos

  • HD600 Demo (72MB) - Main Menu starting image with 4 sections to select from using a touch screen, button board, or mouse to view that section's videos or slideshows

High Definition Video Demos

  • SolidLights 720p Demo (111MB) - Runs on HD2000 only; Plays attract 720p video clip that launches into full 720 video with mouse, button board, or touch screen interaction
  • SolidLights 1080i Demo (90MB) - Runs on HD2000 only; Plays attract 1080i video clip that launches into full 1080i video with mouse, button board, or touch screen interaction
