The Challenge
South Point needed a robust solution to manage and display real-time event information across its sprawling facility. The challenge was to display dynamic content and automate content updates in a way that could keep up with the fast-paced nature of live events. A seamless, reliable system was essential to ensure smooth operation and deliver the right content at the right time. As the project expanded, REACH Media Network helped address a few key challenges, including integrating with Amadeus, adding live text tools, and incorporating scrolling text functionality.
The Solution
By pairing REACH’s powerful CMS with BrightSign’s industry-leading digital signage media players, South Point was able to deliver high-quality, dynamic content throughout the casino. The combination of BrightSignOS™’s reliability and REACH’s CMS provided a seamless, scalable solution that met the resort’s needs. With more than 125 BrightSign players installed in high-traffic areas, South Point was able to efficiently manage its extensive digital signage network. While REACH now powers 16 of the BrightSign players, the rest continue to run on brightAuthor and brightAuthor connected. The integration with REACH’s CMS enabled automated scheduling, ensuring real-time updates and synchronization of event information across displays.
Key Installations Included:
- 125 BrightSign media players placed across high-traffic areas, providing consistent content delivery and enhancing guest engagement.
- Custom display setups for special events, including a dedicated area for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) event, where four BrightSign-powered screens display event draws and winner information, keeping guests engaged during the festivities. These screens are built into custom housings annually for the event, offering a unique and high-impact experience.
- Seamless integration with REACH’s CMS, facilitating real-time content updates and simplified management.
