BrightSign scores double success at the international Digital Signage Awards

Cambridge, UK, (27 April, 2015) – BrightSign, LLC®, the global market leader in digital signage players, today announced a double success at the International Digital Signage Awards (known to friends and supporters as the Doohdas).

The new BrightSign 4K Digital Signage players were named Hardware Innovation of the Year, and BrightSign itself was named Manufacturer of the Year.

The judges summarized their voting: “BrightSign is making it easy for the market. Their affordable, reliable and easy to use solid state player technology plays a significant role in driving increased adoption of signage in markets around the world. As the industry changes over to 4K display technology, BrightSign continues to address the full spectrum of market requirements with their new range of affordable players. The BrightSign team is a worthy winner of these two awards.”

Commenting, Jeff Hastings, CEO of BrightSign, added, “We are delighted to receive this independent recognition of not only our new and market leading 4K players, but also of our achievements as a company. We are passionate about our players and our technology – and it is a great honour to receive this prestigious award.”

BrightSign now offers the most comprehensive portfolio of digital signage media players in the company’s history. Its 4K players were the first and are still the only players to deliver a true end-to-end 4K solution. The players have earned multiple industry awards since shipping late 2014, including the NSCA’s Excellence in Product Innovation Awards in the “Most New Revenue Potential” category. In late-2014, BrightSign released the next generation of its award-winning HD and XD product lines, offering greatly increased performance while maintaining existing price points. It also launched its new BrightSign LS product line, a pair of very affordable, full-featured devices for commercial audio and price-sensitive digital signage applications.
