Recognizing the impact of stress on caregivers and the broader community, leadership sought an innovative way to provide accessible mental health support in a central, welcoming space.

The Challenge

Shell Point wanted to create a resource that would reduce stress and promote mindfulness across its community. The vision was a calming, private environment where individuals could engage with guided exercises and content designed to lower anxiety. The challenge was to design a solution that felt immersive, delivered reliable performance, and was simple for staff to manage without ongoing technical assistance.

The Solution

Shell Point partnered with Red Dot Digital Media, BrightSign, Bluefin, and Wallboard to bring the Mind Pod to life. At the core is a 32-inch Bluefin display with BrightSign Built-In, powered by BrightSignOS™. The integrated design streamlined the deployment and gave Shell Point an all-in-one solution.

Red Dot designed and programmed the entire solution from hardware spec to software and interactive content. Upon entering, individuals rate their stress levels and select from calming videos such as breathing exercises, faith-based messages, and introspection techniques. After completion, they reassess their stress level, giving Shell Point clear data on effectiveness. With Wallboard CMS, the IT team easily updates content, while daily automated reports give administrators insights into usage patterns and outcomes.
