Roku is a leading supplier of innovative and easy to use digital media products. Roku is a leader in the digital sign and kiosk industry with its BrightSign product line, which offers quality, reliable non-PC controllers for both stand-alone and networked applications. Business Solutions

Roku is the leading U.S. provider of high-quality, solid-state media players and products for the digital signage market and kiosk controller market. The company recently expanded these offerings to include the European market with a sales offices in the UK and France.

The BrightSign Platform

Roku BrightSign media players offer the playback quality of a PC platform, and the ease of installation and use of a solid-state player. Specifically designed for digital signage and interactive kiosk applications, BrightSign is fully scalable from a simple one-screen implementation in a small store to a multi-screen, multi-site managed installation.

BrightSign media players connect to both standard VGA LCD monitors and high-end HD displays, and come loaded with other connectivity options such as component video, USB keyboard, analog or USB speakers, IR remote control, and Ethernet and serial ports. With its solid-state design, BrightSign products are rugged and comply with global safety standards.

In addition, BrightSign products support industry-standard video, image and audio content including: MPEG, BMP, JPEG, PNG, WAV and MP3 formats. BrightSign products feature playlist support for looping displays, interactive playlists for kiosks, synchronization for video wall implementations, and scheduling to effectively target playback. The products can also be networked for remote content delivery and management via a LAN or the Internet, and single displays can be divided into zones to deliver multiple impressions simultaneously.

BrightSign Applications

The BrightSign products can be used to enhance customer experiences in a wide range of businesses and applications. Retailers can optimize their marketing and advertising by using BrightSign as a platform for creative displays, revenue-generating advertising signage, and interactive product demonstration kiosks. Museums use BrightSign to spark curiosity through unique, interactive exhibits using quality video, push buttons and LEDs, all without complicated PC technology.
